Antelope Island

Antelope Island State Park offers a truly unique escape as visitors cross the scenic causeway, a narrow two-lane road connecting the mainland to the island. With each mile, the bustle of the Wasatch Front fades away, revealing expansive rangelands surrounded by the desert waters of the Great Salt Lake—a peaceful and unforgettable landscape.

The park is ideal for hiking, biking, wildlife viewing, and provides one of the best access points to the Great Salt Lake. A highlight of the island is the historic Fielding Garr Ranch House, notable for being the oldest continually inhabited Anglo home in Utah (from 1848 to 1981) and the oldest Anglo-built house in the state still standing on its original foundation. Together, natural beauty and deep history make Antelope Island a must-visit destination in Utah. 🦬🌅
